Lois Roser

Lois was born June 12, 1927 in Peoria to Alfred and Ester (Cooke) Raistrick. She was raised by her Grandmother and Grandfather Raistrick. She married John Roser, Sr on June 20, 1947 in Peoria, IL and he survives.

Also surviving are her daughter, Rebecca (Rick) Robinson, daughters-in-law, Debbie Roser and Ginger Roser; six grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Cox and Berneice Hartseil.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Roger, Tom and Jack; her brother, Thomas Raistrick and her sister, Violet and her granddaughter, Tammy Lyons.

Lois devoted her life to her family as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

The family thanks the staff of OSF Hospice for their exceptional care and they are especially grateful for Yolanda, Sydney and Shawna.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Jim Vincent will officiate. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens.

Memorials are suggested to Second Baptist Church, of which she was a member.
