Loveon R. Sanders, 17, of 943 NE Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, IL, passed away at 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2022. Loveon was born on December 28, 2004, to Andre Crosswhite and Sharice Wallace, she preceded him in death in 2005. He was adopted by his great aunt, Latricia Sanders in 2007, she survives. Loveon is also survived by his brother, Andre Sanders of Peoria, IL; three sisters, Le’Asia Sanders, KeAmber Sanders, and Qeeriana Sanders, all of Peoria, IL; two special cousins, DeMarcus Jackson, and Paris Jackson, both of Peoria, IL; four nieces; and two nephews; two close family members he claimed as brothers, AJ and Nunu; and a host of other family and friends who loved and adored him.
Loveon also was preceded in death by one great-grandfather, one grandmother, one great-grandmother, and one great-great grandmother.
Loveon last worked at Firehouse Subs and was a former student at Manual Day Treatment. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews, and siblings. He loved playing football and basketball. He was also a big fan of NBA Youngboy.
Cremation has been accorded. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Davidson Fulton, Woodland Chapel. Words of sympathy may be shared at Davison-Fulton.com.
