Lucy was born Sep. 19, 1923 in Toluca, IL to John and Maria (Michele) Palumbo. She married Bernard Koeppel and was the loving mother of sons: Richard (Vivian), Stephen (Susan), Thomas, and daughter Clare. She was grandma to eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and a sister-in-law Regina Meyer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bernard, one son, Stephen, one grandson, Robb, and eleven sisters and brothers.
She was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church in Peoria.
Lucy’s fun-loving life energy was a gift to all who knew her.
A private family service will be held in Lucy’s memory. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at St. Clare Home.
