Lynne Renee Ibeck

Lynne Renee Ibeck, age 54, of Peoria passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at her home. Lynne was born Oct. 27, 1959, in Staunton, Ill., to James M. (Bernadette) Banovz and Myrna L. (Ken) Smiddy Everett. She married Michael Ibeck on Sept. 7, 1979, in Peoria. Lynne is survived by her husband, Michael; her son, Michael (Monica) Ibeck II of Peoria, Ill.; her two daughters, Michelle (James) Eklund of Sycamore, Ill., and Torie Ibeck of Peoria, Ill.; her stepdaughter, Kim Brock of Springfield, Ill.; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; her mother, Myrna (Ken) Smiddy Everett of Harrisburg, Ill.; four brothers, Randy (Billie) Banovz of McLeansboro, Ill., Kevin (Kathy) Bernadini of Goodyear, Ariz., Michael Banovz of St. Louis, Mo., and Jason (Marissa) Banovz of Staunton, Ill.; and two sisters, Gina (Craig) Foster of Beckemeyer, Ill., and Francene Pejakovic of Staunton, Ill. She was preceded in death by her father. Lynne was a loving wife and mother, and she taught preschool for PALS for 15 years. Lynne enjoyed crocheting and tending to her flower gardens, and she was an avid Yankees fan. Cremation rites will be accorded, and there will be a private family memorial service.
