Margaret "Peggy" Talbott Hill

She was born on January 28, 1930 in Peoria. Her parents were Katherine Warren Talbott and Martling Raynor Talbott. She attended Peoria High School and Bradley University. She is survived by one son, Stephen (Jamie) Hill of Decatur, two daughters: Susan (Elton) Herrick of Dunlap, Julie (Nelson) Whitehurst of Edwards, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, and husband, Bill, who passed away on March 20, 2016.

She married William F. “Bill” Hill in Peoria on June 27, 1948. They were blessed to spend over 67 wonderful years together. Peggy was a career homemaker lovingly fulfilling the roles of mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

While at Bradley University she joined Chi Omega Sorority and remained a proud active member the rest of her life.

Peggy loved cooking, traveling, making crafts and spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at Church. Rev. John Hopwood will officiate. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Richmond Grove Cemetery in New Holland, IL at 2 p.m. Saturday following the services.

Memorials may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church.
