My grandmother was an amazing lady. She was always there to show her love and support, and she was very sharp until her passing at the age of 94. There are so many memories to share, and I will share a few. I will always treasure how special she made everyone feel during the holidays. She crafted our traditional Swedish dinner every Christmas Eve serving potato bologna, lutfisk, and her famous corn. She worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone enjoyed. Grandma was a huge sports fan. Whether it be the St. Louis Cardinals, Bradley Basketball, or Butler Basketball, she was always into the games (not afraid to tell you what she thought) and had her calendar marked on game times and dates. It was fun calling her from the NCAA tournament to hear her excitement even if it was quite late. Finally, my grandma warmly welcomed my wife into the family and could not wait to invite her to family celebrations, always taking an interest. I will always treasure the memory of my grandmother, and she will live on in our hearts forever. I love you, Grandma.
