Marian "Sue" Davis

She was born on March 3, 1945 in Peoria to William and Margaret (Sill) Stephens. She married Charles Davis on March 28, 1964. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2020.

She is survived by her children, Steven Davis and Kristina (Timothy) Huxtable; grandchildren, Emily (Kyle) Kupper, Elizabeth Speicker, Joshua Huxtable, Grace Huxtable, and Olivia (Garth) Gullette; and great-grandchildren, Logan Kupper, Lillian Kupper, Oliver Speicker, Kennedy Gullette, and one on the way.

Sue worked for several companies throughout her life including Pier Marquette, Libby's Canning, Champion Furniture, John Bee Grocery, Riverview Assisted Living and Steak-n-Shake. When her daughter Kristina was in high school she was a Band mom, and assisted as a caregiver to several family members.

Sue was a very giving person. She would give anyone a helping hand. As a mother, she was gentle but firm, often giving that "mother's look" and you knew you better stop. Sue was very funny, and she loved to laugh.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There are no services at this time. A family Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
