Marian E. Mulally, 104, of Peoria, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Lutheran Hillside Village in Peoria. She was born on January 28, 1917 in Peoria, a daughter of Frank and Emma (Kretz) Krause. She grew up on the Willow Shore Truck Farm north of Peoria. In the 1930's she met Carl E. Mulally, they married on September 26, 1937 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1995 in Peoria.
Marian was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister; and son-in-law, Cliff Vandermoon.
She is survived by her eight children, Barbara Vandermoon of O'Fallon, MO, Mopsy (Kenneth) Burdick of Peoria, Marilyn (Dennis) Otto of Hudson, Kenneth (Susan) Mulally of Peoria, Rodney (Julie) Mulally of Chillicothe, Theodore (Janis) Mulally of Chillicothe, Julia (Gary) Rampy of Peoria, and Jane (Tim) Chavis of Lake Stevens, WA; 23 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Marian was devoted to her children, grandchildren, her church, and the farm where she grew up. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. May she rest in peace.
Marian's funeral service will be private at her church. Rev. Ronald Miller and Rev. Michael Burdick will officiate. Interment will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her church or Lutheran Hillside Village.
