She was born July 22, 1933 in Galva, IL. to Ellis and Lillian (Mathias) Davis She married John Payton on January 10, 1959 in Peoria. He passed away April 13, 2007 in Peoria. She is also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, June Lee, and one brother, Bob Davis.
Survivors include one son, Rob Payton of Peoria.
Marian first worked as a Nurse during the 1960’s then worked for Sears, Foster & Gallager, then was a stay-at-home homemaker.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Graveside services will be Friday, March 21, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
