Marianne "Annie" Claire Lane

Peoria – Marianne Claire “Annie” Lane, 5, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 18, 2016 in Peoria, a daughter of Matthew K. and Cara Lee (Andrew) Lane. They survive.

Annie is also survived by her two sisters, Amelia and Makenna of Peoria; grandparents, Robert (Melanie) Lane of Woodridge, Dawna (Ronald) Schiffano of Palmer Township, PA, and Sandra Andrew, of Macomb; great-grandparents, Robert Lane of Shelbyville, IN and Doris Andrew of Durango, CO; five aunts; four uncles; and nine cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lawrence Andrew; great-grandparents, Vance Andrew, Mary and Eugene Marasco, Beverly Lane, and Donald and Mary Stillabower.

Annie was a spunky little girl full of life, who was silly, sarcastic and sassy. She had a lot of love in her. She adored her little sisters Amelia and Makenna, loved her family, her kitties Olive and especially her guard kitty Lucy, disney princesses especially Beauty and the Beast, Moana, and Frozen, dancing, swinging, painting, beads, Spirit, and horses. Annie was a heart warrior and overcame multiple heart surgeries before being gifted a new heart in 2019. She loved Jesus and knew she was going to heaven to meet Him and was very excited to be able to run, jump, dance, and sing. Things she was limited doing in her earthly body. The first thing she wanted to do when she got to heaven was ride horses. Although we are heartbroken she isn’t here with us anymore, we know she is healed, healthy, and happy now and in her Savior’s arms.

Annie’s funeral service will be at 3:30 pm on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Her visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm also on Sunday at the funeral home. A private committal service will take place in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
