Marie was born March 22, 1922 in Peoria, IL to Edward T. & Melanie ( La Jeune) Warren. She married John W. Elliott November 14, 1948 in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1965
.
She is survived by three sons, John E. (Susie) Elliott , Mike (Jan) Elliott , Mark L. (Zeda) Elliott all of Peoria; one daughter, Melanie M (Gordon) Brown of Houston, TX.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one sister, Dolores Simpson of Springfield, IL; and one brother, Dick (Judy) Warren of Leitchfield, KY
.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, and one sister.
She was a cook at St. Joseph Home for 18 years
.

Memorial Mass will be held at St. Sharbel’s, Monday ,November 28, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Father Bechara (Ben) Awada will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded
