She is survived by her husband, Bert Miller; her three sons, Todd (Diana) Miller, Mark (Barb) Miller, and Ross Miller (Marci Goodwin); her grandchildren, Cole Miller, Sarah Miller, Robert (Leah) Miller, Quinn (Brooklynn) Miller, Connor Miller, Christina Miller, Rebecca Dellit, and David Dellit; and her great-grandchildren, Kennedie Miller and Charles Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Christina Stewart.
Marty graduated from Richwoods High School in 1959. She worked at the Peoria County Clerk’s office before marrying and dedicating several years to raising her sons as a loving stay-at-home mother. Later, she returned to the workforce as a scheduler, receptionist, and medical transcriptionist for Methodist Clinics.
Marty found joy in the simple things — tending her garden, doing laundry (which she took great pride in), fishing, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
Marty will be remembered for her bright smile, wonderful hugs, and sweet personality.
A memorial service will be held at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria on Friday 5/2/2025 with the visitation at 10am and the funeral service at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Peoria Affiliate of St. Jude.
