Born July 22, 1953 in Mendota, IL to the late Alick and Betty Alice (Moon) Feith, he married Sharon Guppy on February 12, 2000. She preceded him in death on September 12, 2018. In addition to his parents, and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Feith.
He is survived by his sister, Patricia (Feith) Jorgenson, of Wonder Lake, IL; nieces, Valerie Jorgenson, and Heather Jorgenson, both of Chicago, IL; and step-sons, Martin Guppy, and Randall Guppy.
Martin was an avid photographer. He enjoyed playing chess, and traveled to tournaments throughout the United States.
Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be held at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 2PM with Father Tom Taylor officiating. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
