Mary E. Bainbridge

Mary E. Bainbridge, 76, of Peoria, died at 1:06 P.M. Monday, February 14, 2011 at the Rosewood Care Center in Peoria, Illinois. She was born November 10, 1934 in Galesburg, Illinois. She was the daughter of Leo and Lois (Miles) Jordan. She married Donald Bainbridge on October 3,1953 in Cambridge, Illinois. He preceded her in death August of 1994 in Peoria, Illinois. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Marianne Patricia Howell and two sisters Margaret Sperlin and Patricia Mellican.

Mary is survived by one son, Mark Daniel (Olga)Bainbridge of Shannon, Illinois, Two daughters, Michelle Marie Clifton of Washington, Illinois, and Melissa Lee (Kirk) Fulton of Bartonville, Illinois. There are 15 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren surviving also. Two Brothers are living, Miles Jordan and David (Nancy) Jordan both of Monticello, Indiana.

She was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church in East Peoria and the St. Monica’s Womens Guild.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 19, 2011 at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in East Peoria, Illinois. The Father James Kruse will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday at the Davison Fulton Woodland Chapel and 30 minutes before services at the church on Saturday.

Entombment will be in the Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
