

Mary Lou was born November 3, 1928 in Wataga, IL to Charles A. and Ruby F. (Foster) Motz. She married James A. Miller on July 29, 1950. They were married 32 years, he passed away April 28, 1982. She then married Edward A. Beam on November 2, 1989 in Citrus Heights, CA. He passed away September 15, 2006. Mary Lou is survived by her Stepdaughter; Sharon K. Miller, Son: Dennis (Judy) Miller, Daughters: Cindy Snyder, Ruth (Ariel) Blancaflor, all of Peoria, and Susan (Mike) Payne of Canton, IL, Sister-In-Law; Joyce Motz of Naples, FL; seven Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren, and several beloved Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by: Husbands, Parents, Brother; James L. Motz, Grandson; Sean Miller, and Son-In-law William Snyder. Mary Lou loved spending time with her family, especially at her lakeside cabin at Wee-Ma-Tuk in Cuba, IL. While at the cabin, she loved to fish. She also enjoyed golfing, and watching all different sports, especially The Chicago Bulls. Mary Lou was a former member of Richwoods Christian Church, in Peoria, and was also in support of Grace Presbyterian Church and their missions programs. Funeral Services for Mary Lou will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday June 16, 2014 at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday June 15, 2014 from 5 – 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens. In honor of Mary Lou, memorial donations may be made to: Camp Kearney C/O South Side Mission, 1127 S. Laramie St., Peoria, or Unity Point Hospice, 221 NE Glen Oak Ave., Peoria.
