Mary L. Bragg

Mary L. Bragg, age 85, of Peoria, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 10:19 p.m. at Unity Point Proctor in Peoria. She was born Dec. 6, 1935 in Peoria to Arthur and Mary (Gipe) Goodwin. She first married Robert Getz and he later passed away. She later married William Bragg. He also preceded her in death along with her parents, and one step-daughter, Victoria Sutton. Survivors include three children: Bonita Getz of Peoria, Diana Miller of Peoria, Mike (Karen) Getz of Bartonville, six step-children: Lee Bragg of Peoria, Rob Bragg of Bartonville, Bill Bragg of Bartonville, Toby Bragg of Deer Creek, Lori (Dan) Ewing of Illinois, and William Bragg of Peoria. She is also survived by six grandchildren including Cari (Mark) Denny-Doolin of Lincoln, Amanda Getz of Peoria, and two great-grandchildren: Johnathon Denny and Dannie Sarver both of Lincoln, IL. Mary was a member of St Thomas Catholic Church, the Disabled American Veterans Association, and the Peoria Eagles Lodge. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Thomas Catholic Church in Peoria Heights. BJ was a student for 2 years in my class at St Vincents. He was loved by many at the school. His Mom was such a very special Mom. She was so dedicated to BJ's education. He is a wonderful young man.
