Mary M. "Peggy" Mcknight

She was born Oct. 26, 1940 in Peoria to Joseph and Helen (O’Leary) Schlosser. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Aaron McKnight.

Survivors include one daughter, Theresa McKnight of Peoria, one son, Randy McKnight of Peoria, one grandson, Christopher (Crystal Parry) McKnight of Peoria, one great-granddaughter, Keke McKnight of Peoria, one sister, Gretchen Stephens of Peoria and two brothers: Joe (Judy) Schlosser of Peoria and Isaac Schlosser of Fargo, ND.

Peggy was a beautician in the Peoria area finding her greatest joy serving seniors, last working at Lutheran Hillside Village. She will always be remembered for her wonderful laugh and her delight in jokes.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be Saturday Nov. 12, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at the Waters of Life Chapel at Lutheran Hillside Village. Rev. Paul Park will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the Waters of Life Chapel. Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lutheran Hillside Village Foundation.
