From an early age, it was clear that Susie had a gift for music and a natural affinity for teaching. She dedicated her life to sharing her passion with others, leaving an indelible mark on countless students at East Moline Public Schools, where she served as a music teacher.
Mary's passion for music extended beyond the classroom. She was an active member of her church directing the choir and bell choir. She sang in quartets and played the flute.
She also enjoyed crocheting baby blankets, traveling and going out to lunch with her sister Betty. Mary made friends everywhere she went.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, Peoria.
