Mary Elizabeth (Jones) Walker

She was born on November 7, 1973 in Peoria, a daughter of Wayne Jasper Jones, Sr. and Mary Martha (Mann) Jones. Mary married Christopher Walker on September 29, 2018 in Prescott, Arizona. He survives.

She is also survived by her four sisters, Shirl (Ed) LaBarre of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Tammy (John) Moews of Whiteland, Indiana, Victoria Jones of Peoria, and Gina (Chris) Petitpas of Jacksonville, Florida; one brother, Wayne (Lori) Jones of Peoria; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a former volunteer at Methodist Hospital in Peoria and worked at Sears in Peoria. Mary lastly worked as a cook for Good Samaritan Assisted Living in Prescott Valley, Arizona, as a caregiver for High Desert Assisted Living in Dewey, Arizona, and also as a pet sitter.

Mary loved cooking, photography, hiking, crafting, and especially loving on her husband.

Mary's memorial visitation will take place from 10:00 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Her memorial service will follow at 11:30 am.
