Marylou Crocker

She was born December 3, 1938 in Nebo, KY to Laslie and Maudie (Carter) Mitchell. She married Billy Edmond Crocker on November 17, 1956 in Evansville, Indiana. He preceded her in death on June 27, 2017 in Pekin. Also preceding her in death were her parents, twin daughters, Betty Maxine and Mary Jane, three brothers, Danny, Bobby Joe, and Freddie Mitchell; and a grandson, Jason.

Surviving are her children, Steven Crocker of Jackson, Michigan, Dale M. Crocker of Pekin, and Karen M. (Leon) Blair of North Pekin; ten grandchildren, Jayda Crocker and Arianna Crocker, Darryl Blair, Nathan Blair, and Jacob Blair, Mary Siders, Courtney Hemphill, K.C. Brewer, Dakota Brewer and Stephen Brewer; sixteen great grandchildren; and her sister, Barbara Lacefield of Caneyville, KY.

She was a faithful and dedicated member of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Peoria for 50 years, where she served as a Treasurer for many years. Marylou worked last in the Medical Billing Department for the University of Illinois School of Medicine and as a Tuppperware Manager for many years.

She enjoyed watching her game shows and the Lawrence Welk Show. She was a devoted wife of 60 years, loving mother, grandmother and sister. Who will be remembered for her great heart and love for her family and God.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, March 25, 2022 with visitation one hour prior to service at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of Peace at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
