

Edward was born May 10, 1986, to Donald Woodson and Chiquita Washington and raised by his mother and father, Curtis Jones. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, maternal grandmother, Beverly Beard, paternal grandmother, Katie Mae Jackson, and sister, Ashley Washington.
Surviving are his four siblings, Antonio "Destro" Washington, Natalie D. Woodson, Katanya L. Carney, and Scyler D. Washington; his dear friend, Caprice Ping; his god-daughter Morgyn Patterson; and a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Edward enlisted in the Army on March 26, 2007, and reached the rank of Master Sergeant at the time of his passing. He was a member of the Harold Washington Military Lodge #128 and hailed the position of Past Master. In addition, Edward was a member of District 8 Western Europe Oklahoma Jurisdiction and held the position of Ambassador at Large and Sublime Prince for the Donald Coleman Consistory #329. He was also a member of the Shriners of Faisal Temple #192, Stuttgart, Germany, where he preserved the title of Noble Edward Washington - High Priest and Prophet.
Edward graduated from the American Military University with an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and was working towards his Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a concentration in Forensic DNA and Serology in Pharmacy at the University of Florida.
A service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 6, 2022, with visitation from 9 am until the start of the service at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
