He was born June 7, 1974 in Peoria to Ronald and Mary Ann (Suttor) Herman. He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother of Morton, three sisters: Julie (Terry Poplette) Herman of Orlando, FL, Amy (Brandon) Carroll of Mapleton, Nicole (Guilluame) Kraft of Nashville, TN, two brothers: Ronnie Herman of Peoria, Joshua (Dayna) Herman of Carol Stream, IL, four nephews: Noah, Seth, Jackson, and Mason. He was also survived by his fiancée, Courtney Branum of Bartonville.
Michael was a 1993 graduate of Woodruff High School in Peoria. He was currently working at Caterpillar, Inc. He was a member of the UAW 974, and was attending the Peoria Apostolic Christian Church, where he was active in the church choir. Michael had a great love of sports, Cubs baseball in particular. Seeing them win the World Series was a highlight for him.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 12, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Peoria Apostolic Christian Church. Additional visitation will be Friday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Apostolic Church Cemetery near Edwards.
