She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Roberts of Springfield, Illinois; her brother, James (Jim) Roberts; and her son, Edward Causino.
She is survived by her daughter, LeAnn Dufner of Springfield; her son, Bill Miller of Peoria; and her daughter, Renee Causino of Bartonville. Also surviving are her granddaughters, Ruth, Rebecca, and Alexis; her great-grandchildren, Taijah, Logan, Eli, and Kylie; many nieces; nephews; cousins; and her fur babies, who got on her nerves but she loved very much.
In her younger years she was a professional country singer for "The Country Express". Mikki held many professions through her years, from bookkeeping to restaurant management, and spent quite a few years as a card dealer at Station Casino in St. Charles and Par-a-dice Hotel & Casino in East Peoria.
Upon her retirement, she enjoyed her danced-based workout classes until she was no longer able, casual shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a trademark smile and laugh, and was often referred to as "feisty" by most people who knew her. She was very loved and will be very dearly missed.
Mikki's celebration of life gathering will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Monday, January 27, 2025 at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Park in Springfield.
