Molly VanVooren

She was born Feb. 14, 1949 in Carroll, Iowa to Kenneth and Elizabeth (Welsh) Pingrey. She married Larry Van Vooren June 14, 1986 in Olney, IL. He survives along with one daughter, Jennifer (Brandon) Webster of Peoria, three sons: Jeremy (Emily) Clem of Washington, Brian (Amy) Van Vooren of Raleigh, NC, Troy Van Vooren of Los Angeles, CA, three sisters: Mary (Larry) Alex, Jean (Roger) Lucht, Janet Hachmeister, all of Coon Rapids, Iowa, and six grandchildren: Conner, Parker, Paige, Griffin Van Vooren, Owen and Olivia Clem. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepfather, Rex Lewis, and one daughter, Kristine Orr.

Molly was a Registered Nurse working for Proctor Hospital- Hyperbaric Unit, and Methodist Medical Center- ER dept., Cath Lab, and Research. She retired in 2010.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be Sunday May 20, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. A private memorial service will be Monday.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens in Peoria.
