Nancy Paulette Pemble

Nancy was born on January 1, 1944 in Springfield, IL to Paul and Viola L. VanDyke. She married Lanny Pemble on September 26, 1986 in Peoria. Nancy is survived by her husband; her children, Tammy (John) Miller, Michael (Rhonda) Marks, Angela (Roger Carey) Ernst, Veronda (Les) Cotton, and Amanda Owens; two step-children, Amy Fryer and Richard Pemble; her grandchildren, Misty Bressler, Tara Porter, Justin Marks, Brett Smith, Rachel (Russell) Johnson, Heather Bailey, Donetta (Emmanuel) Torres, Megan (Beau) Fuller, Amber Cotton, Michael Cotton, Matthew Cotton, Paul Murphy, Austin Motsinger, Hunter Owens, Mia Owens, Crystal (Kyle) Smith, Zachary Barnes, Dakota Barnes, Collin Barnes and Sydney Lawless; 15 great-grandchildren; her sister, Carolyn Sue Burkholder and two brothers, August and Norman Casson. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Johnathon and one great-grandson, Logan.

Nancy worked for 26 years for Tony’s Market in Peoria before retiring in 2011. She was a member of the Eagle’s Club and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her Boston Terriers.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 3pm to 5pm at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Immediately following the services at the funeral home will be a wake at the Eagle’s Club #265, 1704 S. East Ln., Peoria. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.
