In her early years, Pat worked as a maid for Jumers in Peoria.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Barnett and Margaret (Mitchell), as well as her sister, Mary Jennings, and brother-in-law, Edward. Pat and her sister Mary shared a special bond, often described as being as close as twins.
Surviving Pat are her dear friends: Heather, who grew up next door, Debra and Dale, John and Trudy, and Barry and Randy, who took great care of her at the nursing home.
Pat had a passion for music and dancing, and she embraced her unique status as a leap year baby with joy.
A private family service will be held in her memory.
