Patricia Louise Crittenden

Born February 17, 1939, in Wilmar, CA, to Norman and Genevieve (McGuffie) Eddy. Patty married her high school sweetheart, Steve Crittenden, in Alhambra, CA, on June 30, 1957. He preceded her in death in March of 2015.

Patty was a dedicated Navy wife of 20 years, which led to numerous travels and adventures across the country. She loved her family, her Chicago Cubs, and her jigsaw puzzles.

Patty is survived by her four children, Barb (Mike) Massey of Batavia, IL, Laurie Seidel of Peoria, Steve (Toni) Crittenden of Midlothian, VA, and Kathy Crittenden of Dunlap; ten grandchildren, Angie Crittenden of Southington, CT, Ross (Jaxi) Massey of Seattle, WA, Connor (Mark) Long of St. Charles, IL, Rachel Burnett of Peoria, Cassie (James) Whitmore of Washington, IL, Shelby Crow of Richmond, VA, and Ryley Crow of Washington, D.C.; and three great-granddaughters, Sophie, Remi, and Bailey; brother and sister-in-law, Dave (Paulette) Eddy of East Peoria; sister and brother-in-law, Julie (Mark) Bersch of Madison, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roy and George Eddy; sister, Susie Cree; and grandson, Tony Malone.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home for the love and care given to Mom in her final days.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home.
