

Patricia Lane Meschnark-Montgomery, 77, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away peacefully on March 31st at her home surrounded by her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Aaron “Monty” Montgomery, and her parents, Olive Jane Meschnark and Max Kowalski as well as her siblings: Harry, Harold, Gloria, and Raymond Meschnark. Patricia is survived by her devoted son, Mark White and his fiancée, Wandza Taylor of Peoria, IL, her sisters Rosie (Jerry) Bowman of Michigan and Shirley Meschnark of Peoria, IL, and her brother William (Ann) Meschnark of Trivoli, IL, as well as her three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A life-long resident of Peoria, Patricia graduated from Manual High School in 1958 with high honors. She then went on to work as a Human Resources Administrator for Fleming-Potter and retired after 30 years of dedicated service with the company. Patricia was an avid traveler and enjoyed vacationing in various places throughout her lifetime. She had a fondness for the local theatre and arts. She was also a member of the Red Hats Society. Patricia enjoyed working outside within her garden while listening to the music of Barry Manilow in the company of her beloved dogs or reading a good book. She loved spending quality time with her family and friends, especially her late husband and son. She had the most beautiful smile that would radiate any room she walked in as well as an abundance of beauty full of love and laughter. Patricia will be missed tremendously by so many who loved and cherished her. Visitation services will be held at Davidson-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria, IL on Monday, April 10th from 10am-11am.
