

Patricia Ann "Pat" Withers, 73, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on October 27, 1951 in Rockford, a daughter of Earl Joseph and Ivy Violet (Perrett) Hurd. Pat married James Michael "Mike" Withers on February 12, 1986 in Peoria. He survives.
She is also survived by her three children, Gretchen Shay of Madison, Alabama, Robert (Cara) Feinholz of Castle Rock, Colorado, and Joseph Withers of Jacksonville, Florida; five grandchildren, Lily and Beckah Epperly both of Madison, Alabama, Elli, Will, and Charlie Feinholz of Castle Rock, Colorado; one brother, Dr. David (Cathy) Hurd of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; two sisters, Diane (David) Risley of Rockford and her twin sister, Pam (Bill) Griswold of Round Rock, Texas; sister-in-law, Joan Hurd of Rockford; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Carole Hurd; her brother, John Earl Hurd; and her nephew, John David Hurd.
She graduated from Rockford Auburn High School and Illinois State University.
Pat dedicated over 30 years to Multi-Ad Services in Peoria, last working as their Vice President.
After retirement she volunteered her time at Esther House in Peoria, assisting in the office and VBS at Grace Presbyterian Church, and Child Evangelism Fellowship. Pat was the sibling that got the extra dose of creativity in the family. For many years she made her grandkids Halloween costumes from scratch. She also made intricate quilts for all of her kids. Additionally, Pat was an avid fan of Bradley basketball, Notre Dame football, Chicago White Sox, and Chicago Bears. She especially loved watching her kids and grandkids in all their activities. Pat loved and supported her family in all circumstances and was a strong woman of prayer.
She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria.
Pat's family has arranged a memorial visitation to take place from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Her memorial service will take place at 3:00 pm following her visitation also at the church.
