

He was born April 6, 1947 in Bloomington, IL to William and Mildred (Wilson) Conner. He married Valerie McKinney, his wife of over 40 years, on February 14, 1981. She survives.
Also surviving are four children: Chad Michael (Annette) Conner of Virginia Beach, VA, Amy Marie (Jeffery) Mink of South Pekin, Dawn Michelle (Chris) Walker of Pekin and Kraig Allen (Bonnie) Martin of Peoria; twenty grandchildren: Michael, Aiden, Bryce, Isabella, Aileen, Savannah, Gabriel, Adrianna, Isaac, Brennan, Ryan, Kyler, Joely, Kalana, Mya, Dustin, Riley, Ciara, Kapraun, and Kayla; one great-granddaughter, Jacqueline; and one sister, Sue Reagan of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Conner.
Patrick served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He then worked as a mechanic, as well as owning of PWC Towing. Patrick later worked in parts for Montgomery Wards and then as a Sales Clerk with Advanced Auto Parts. Patrick was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and enjoyed racing Stock Cars and Muscle Cars in his youth. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting model trains and was an avid Chicago White Sox Fan.
Cremation will be accorded. A graveside service will be at 11:30 am on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. A celebration of life will follow after the graveside service from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at his home. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
