Paul H. Rosenak, 91, of Sun City Center, FL, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Sun Towers Retirement Center. Born in Chenoa, IL, on December 5, 1934, he was the son of the late Adolph and Beatrice (Davy) Rosenak. On May 13, 1953, he married Elinor A. Dawson in Corinth, MS. She preceded him in death on December 7, 2011, in Valrico, FL.
Surviving Paul are three daughters, Marilyn (Ned) Wright of FL, Paula Ann (Terry) Boyer of MD, and Jean (Donnie Allein) McBain of FL; two grandsons, Matthew Clay and Douglas J. McBain III; and two great-grandsons, Jonathan Clay and Oliver McBain. Paul is also remembered by a special friend, Song James. Aside from his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Rosenak; and a sister, Kay Clark.
Paul graduated from Woodruff High School in Peoria, IL, and began his career in the United States Postal Service. Paul worked in Peoria, Champaign, and relocated to USPS Headquarters in Washington D.C, in March of 1971. He retired from the United State Postal Service as a Fleet Maintenance Operations Specialist in 1990. Following retirement, he relocated to Florida. He enjoyed travel, gardening, and collecting and restoring garden gnomes and statues.
A private graveside service will be held at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria, IL. Memorial contributions can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or the Parkinson's Foundation. Condolences and memories may be shared through Davison-Fulton.com
