Phyllis Joann Moore

She was born July 15, 1933 in Peoria to Herbert and Marcella (Sniff) Widdows. She married Burrel Moore on June 8, 1951 in Peoria. He passed away December 27, 2002 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, Heather J. Carlson-Bender, and one brother, Lyle Widdows.

Survivors include three daughters: Debra (James Garner) O’Hara of Springfield, IL, Rebecca (Terry) Girdzus of Crown Point, IN, Linda (Brian) Carlson of Oquawka, IL, one son, Thomas (Linda) Moore of Creve Coeur, IL, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mardell (Gayle) Galbraith of Missouri.

Joann was a mail room supervisor for FP Mail Systems in Peoria. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Davison-Fulton Woolsey Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
