Rachel R. Korenchuk

Rachel R. Korenchuk, 30, of Peoria, Illinois, died Sunday, August 7, 2011 from injuries sustained in a vehicular-motorcycle accident. She was born May 27, 1981 in Peru, Illinois. She is the daughter of James M. and Jacquelyn “Jacque” (Porch) Baker. She married Michael S. “Korey” Korenchuk on February 11, 2008 in Costa Rica.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Jacque and Randy May of Peoria, Illinois. Two daughters, Bella and Jersie Korenchuk at home survive. One sister, Angie Lugeanbeal of Pekin, Illinois survives along with two nieces, Lauren and Julia Lugeanbeal of Pekin. Rachel has grandparents surviving, Mr. and Mrs. Mel (Rocky) Porch of Lacon, Illinois. She also has several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rachel was a loving wife and mother, and a photographer owning her own business, Bella Imagery.

A celebration of life service will be Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Davison Fulton Woolsey Wilton Funeral Home. The Rev. Gavin H. Finefield will officiate. Visitation will be from 4PM until 8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment services will be at a later date at the Belle Plains Cemetery rural Toluca, Illinois.
