Rae Lynn Peplow

Rae was born on September 1, 1955 to Ray and Phyllis L. (Wigginton) Schoch. She grew up in East Peoria and graduated from East Peoria High School in 1973. She was married on August 20, 1977 in East Peoria to Jerry Peplow. They had a long and happy marriage for 39 years. She was affectionately referred to, by her family, as Tooty.

Rae was a loving and devoted mother to her two sons Casey and Cody. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren playing and cooking. Rae worked at John Bee Supermarket as a deli manager, Catholic Social Services as a receptionist, and was an amazing cook who offered her services at ICC and Rosewood Nursing Home. She truly loved fishing, boating and camping with her family and friends. Rae will always be remembered as fun loving, with a good sense of humor.

Rae leaves behind her loving husband Jerry, her son, Casey (Rachel) Peplow, of Peoria, Il.; Christopher Cody (Tabitha) Peplow, of Peoria, Il.; and grandchildren Mackenzie, Ella, Jackson, Graeson, Kooper, and Adeline.

She also leaves behind her father Ray [Phyllis (Shelton)] Schoch of East Peoria; three sisters, Laura Sweeney of Peoria, Il, Sandy Campbell of Barrington, Il and Ruth Morris (Jim) of Mapleton; as well as one brother, Philip Schoch of Marquette Heights; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother Phyllis L. (Wigginton) Schoch, her sister Robin Pauli, and Brother-in-laws, Ken Pauli and Rob Sweeney.

Vistiation will held from 5:00 to 6:30 pm on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey Wilton Funeral Home, 2408 W Willow Knolls Dr. Peoria, Il. A memorial service will follow at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. The Rev. Debbie Olsson will officiate.
