Richard "Rick" Dale Motsinger

Rick was born on Sunday, October 27, 1946 in Marion, Illinois to Reverend Samuel M. and Jean (Clark) Motsinger.

Rick is survived by his mother, Jean; his children, Richard Lee and Jane Motsinger of Tennessee, David Wayne and Stephen Motsinger of Peoria, Illinois and Angela Renea Motsinger of Kentucky; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Judi and John Morgan of Texas; his niece and nephew; and longtime friend, Ron Knickerbocker. He was preceded in death by his father.

Rick served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967 to 1969 serving in the Vietnam War. He then worked for Fleming and Potter in Peoria. Rick was very social and enjoyed the company of others. He also enjoyed camping, the outdoors and his dog, Hoover.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 1:00pm at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria, with Reverend John Eisfelder officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Entombment will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 10:00am at Swan Lake Mausoleum in Peoria. Arrangements were handled by Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel.
