
Richard “Dick” R. Robbins, 81, of Peoria, passed away at 4:31 p.m., Thursday, August 2, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. He was born November 8, 1930 in South Bend, IN to Raymond and Elsie (Schrieber) Robbins. He married Patsy Lee (Bell) on December 18, 1943 in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are 3 sons: Richard R. (Connie) Robbins, Jr. of East Peoria, Randy M. (Katy) Robbins and Craig A. Robbins both of Peoria; 3 daughters:TamelaMontiel of Shaurita, AZ, Kellie Graham of Peoria, Dana (Darrell)Driggers of Bartonville; 1 brother Ronald Robbins of Peoria; 1 sisterJananne (Clyde)Durr of Monroe, N.C.; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Duane “Bud” Robbins and one grandson, Joshua. S. Polk. Dick owned and operated Robbins Fence Co. for 44 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and belonged to Big Hollow Sportsman’s Club. He attended the Reorganized Church Of Jesus Christ-Latter Day Saints in Pekin. Dick loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, which were his life. A funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 10, 2012 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made toOSF Hospice.
