Rickie Lee Hickman Sr.

Peoria County resident Rickie Lee Hickman Sr., 64, of Edelstein, IL died Monday at UnityPoint Health-Methodist Hospital. Rick was born in Alliance, NE to Raymond and Elsie (Prouty) Hickman. He attended schools in Oregon, graduating from Central Linn High School. He was married twice while living in the Pacific Northwest for most of his life, but more recently resided with his beloved Becky Pulst during his final years. Rick worked 27 years in carpentry and construction, spending most of his time between self-employment with Double J Construction, as well as Andersen Construction of Portland, OR. He retired early in 2020. Rick enjoyed carpentry in his spare time, as well as working on and maintaining classic vehicles. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends when possible. Rick is survived by his beloved Becky Pulst; sons Rick Jr. of Lebanon, OR, Jason of Camas, WA, Nathan of Albany, OR; and 7 grandchildren.
