Robert Eugene Fornoff

He was born on March 3, 1930 in Pekin, Il to Adam and Alma (Krannich) Fornoff. He married Clarice Kreiling and then later married Donna Burkardt on November 16, 1983 in Chicago, IL. She survives.

Also surviving are his four children, Robert (Debbie) Fornoff of Pekin, Randy Fornoff of Colorado, David (Dianne) Fornoff of Texas, and Deb Shaw of Peoria; six step-children, Deborah (Jerry) Eyster of Peoria, Cheryl Kelch of Peoria, Dawn Jones of LaSalle, Joy Marinich of Peoria, Brett and James Burkardt both of Arizona; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Damian Worden, and five sisters.

Robert served in the U.S. Army reserves for over 40 years achieving the rank of Colonel before retiring. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in East Peoria, where he volunteered for many years and he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family.

Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service at 4pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Immanuel Lutheran Church in East Peoria. The Rev. Craig Stanford will officiate. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
