I remember meeting Robert for the first time at Campus town, I felt bad for him when I first laid eyes upon him, offered him my coat. He refused. 

Offered him some money. He refused. 

Offered to buy him food. He refused. 

Wasn't till I seen him a few more times and sat down to chat that he'd reluctantly take some cash. I just wanted him to have something so he could grab what he wanted. 

He was always grateful and keen for a talk. 

When you seen him he'd give ya a hello Shane!!! And as long as I had time, I'd stop and chat. We'd enjoy a beer or two, and I go home worried about him, but he didn't need the worries.

He was HAPPY to be free, happy to do what he wanted to do. He really lived the way he wanted too and I'll always admire that about him.

R.I.P Robert, some day I'll be down to visit ya. Bring ya beer and we'll have another nice chat.

Robert was a beam of light, every time my roommates and I would go to CVS we would see him sitting there, in the same spot by the doors, and we would say hi to him. He would always smile back and with the sweetest and most excited tone he would say hi girls! How are classes going! It became routine for us to visit Robert, and one time my roommate and I passed by Subway and saw him sitting by himself. We went in to keep him company and he would always make our day with his beautiful energy. I know he's smiling down, and he has become the brightest light in the sky, we will always remember him, our friend, Robert.

My roommates and I used to always go into CVS and have a long conversation with Robert. He always remembered our names, asked us how school was going, and told us to get home safe. I will never forget the smile that came across his face as he saw someone he knew walk in the doors. Robert has impacted so many students on campus, and I'm so glad I was lucky enough to meet him. Robert, my roommates and I miss seeing you every week, and we will never forgot the loving conversations we had.

I meet Robert a few years ago downtown. He was a very kind soul. We shared a warm meal and chatted my lunch break away. It was right before Thanksgiving and I asked him if he had any plans for the holiday. He was unaware the holidays were approaching so I stopped by Walmart to get him a watch. When I returned he was nowhere to be found. I've looked for him every since. I still have that watch in my van, I'd like to leave it with him, my friend Robert. Heartbreaking to learn he served our country and died on the street.

I knew Mr. Moore from going into CVS .He was always pleasant and always returned my greeting with not just a one word answer .Given his circumstances . he still remained pleasant and upbeat as far as my interactions with him .I will miss seeing him by the door at cvs.i thank him for his service to our country and wish him a speedy journey to the Lord's arms where he is no longer homeless now 

I want to say that Mr. Robert was a very nice person and he never forgot my name every time I would talk to him in Campus town. He will be truly missed. Thank you for serving our country! I salute you sir!  

My husband, ENFN Scott, and I always used to talk to Robert, whenever we would come to Campustown, which was quite often. It's not the same, without him here.
