

He was born August 2, 1925 in Kewanee, a son of Roland M. and Ruth P. Hultgren Anderson, he married Betty M. Brown on January 27, 1946 in Peoria.
He is survived by his wife for 65 years; three sons, Ross (Louise) Anderson of Shelby, OH, Dean (Theresa) Anderson of Eureka, and David (Rhonda) Anderson of Metamora; one daughter, Cynthia G. Anderson of Peoria; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, William (Lila) Anderson of Manito, and James (Marilyn) Anderson of Peoria; and two sisters, Barbara (William) Hull of Fountain Valley, CA, and Janice (Dennis, deceased) Eggers of Chatham.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
Bud first worked as a Supervisor for O. Frank Heinz Construction Company in Peoria for 22 years then later was employed as a Machinist for Caterpillar Inc. for 27 years retiring in 1991.
He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria where he was active in the church choir. Bud and Betty were active with mission work and loved their travels together.
He loved to read his bible, and music. In his younger years, he had a passion for airplanes and flying; middle aged years, fishing, and most recent running. He was a member of the Peoria Striders Club.
Funeral services will be at 10:30a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Dr. Ben Johnston will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
