

Rose was born on March 26, 1946 in Norris City, IL, to the daughter of James Roy Dishman and Opal Blake.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Susan (Robert) Bodtke, and Sherry (Chad Clayton) Sarver; step-son, Patrick (Martha) Sullivan; nine grandchildren, Shanea Williams, Ronnie Bodtke, Bobby Bodtke, Jerry Fischer, Shane Fischer Sr., Nathon Fischer, Tracy Ray, Aleisha Behymer and Brittney Sullivan; seventeen great grandchildren, Jade, Alisa, Drew, Jordan, Parker, Bella, Max, Bobby, Rosie, Christopher, Lucas, Shane Jr., AnnElise, Christopher, Sara, Naomi and Izzy; and two great-great grandchildren, Izaiah and Ezekiel; one sister Lillie Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents James Roy Dishman and Opal Blake, six siblings, one great-grandchild Emily, and son in law Chris Sarver.
She served as a LPN at the OSF nursery for many years and she owned and operated Merrie Maids Sitter Service till retirement. Most of all Rose loved spending time with her grandchildren and their many friends. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved to go camping and fishing.
There will be a celebration of life held for Rose’s friends and family at the Encounter Church at 800 Springfield Road, East Peoria, on Sunday, July 2 from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
Rose will be laid to rest at Parkview Cemetery, Peoria.
In honor of Rose, memorial contributions will be made to the EP Elementary School District Foundation or to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
