

Rose was born on Wednesday, November 13, 1929 in Attica, Indiana to William H. and Ethel (Rozell) Woodhall. When her father passed in 1940, she moved with her family to Peoria and graduated from Woodruff High School. She married Harry I. Sprague on Sunday, September 17, 1950 in Peoria. She worked for various companies in Peoria, most recently working as a Bookkeeper for Dr. William Campbell and for Physician's Family Medicine, retiring in 1991. When her sons were young, Rose babysat for a beautiful baby girl, Melissa Monroe, who was very dear to her.
Surviving are her two sons, Rodney Sprague of East Peoria, IL and Gregory (Beth) Sprague of Peabody, KS; four grandchildren, one step-grandchild and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, in June of 2011; her parents; her sister, Georgie and her brother, Woody.
Rose was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her favorite hobby was talking, her second favorite hobby was reminiscing of the day of her youth, and her third favorite hobby was keeping Harry Ivan in line! She loved to sew and garden and collecting pigs; and was a member of the TOPS Club.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria with visitation one hour prior to the service. Chaplain and family friend, Pat Monroe will be officiating. Entombment will be at Parkview Mausoleum in Peoria. Memorials may be made to OSF Richard L.
