He was born on January 21, 1991 in Valencia, CA to Dave and Debbie (Koehler) Collom.
Ryan was an Assistant Manager for 5 Star Nutrition in East Peoria, IL. He was very passionate about physical fitness and nutrition and was even studying to be a nutritionist. He was also a member of Titan Fitness.
He lived with his Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Jay at one point and loved living with them. He loved watching the Chicago Bears and loved watching the Chicago Cubs with his Uncle Jay, and he loved washing dishes for his Aunt Cynthia.
Ryan was known as a sweet and caring person, who loved his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed pulling pranks with his friends in high school. His last day of high school, he stole the security guards golf cart and ran it into a curb, scratching his knees up but fortunately still able to walk across the stage for graduation. When he was 21, he served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Idaho. He always said it was one of the best experiences he has ever had.
Ryan is survived by his son, Brixton Jett Collom; his parents, Dave and Debbie Collom; his siblings, Sara Barry, Sean (Nichole) Collom, Clarence 'Wes' Collom, and Ezra (Kenzie) Collom; his nieces and nephews, Benjamin Courtney, Charles Barry, Kathleen Barry, Noreen Barry, Richard Barry, LoreLai Fejt, Jack Fejt, Mina Fejt, Waverly Fejt, Leah Walker, Ashlyn Walker, Madison Walker, and Ava Walker; his aunts and uncles, Cynthia and Jay Williams, Daniel Collom, Jack Douglas and Diane Collom, and John and Sheri Galli.
