Ryan is survived by his parents, Paul and Megan Todd of Peoria; grandparents Clinton and Dianne Todd of Henderson, Kentucky, and Dan Hunter of Trion, Georgia; aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family that loved him.
Ryan worked as a Strain Gauge Technician for ATS at the Caterpillar, Inc. Tech Center L facility in Mossville, Illinois; Prior to ATS he worked as an Instrumentation Technician for DVA at the Caterpillar, Inc. Tucson Proving Ground in Green Valley, Arizona.
Motorcycles were Ryan’s main passion. He would light up when talking about his most recent ride and often said that riding was the highlight of his day and when he felt most alive. He also had a lifelong love of cats, especially the two he called his own, Tuna and Doug. They brought him immense joy and comfort. He was fortunate to have had true and real friendships in his life, especially with his best friends, Will and Xavier, with whom he shared many fun adventures. He also adored his girlfriend, Hayden.
Ryan had many wonderful experiences with his Scout friends and his family at Camp Wokanda and we are thankful for the memories with him there.
His celebration of life gathering will take place on May 29, 2025, at the OA Lodge at Camp Wokanda from 4pm to 7pm, with a short ceremony at 5pm. Please dress comfortably and join us to share memories of Ryan and celebrate his life.
Ryan served as a volunteer for several years at The Animal League of Green Valley (AZ). He helped clean the cat rooms and assisted visitors in finding just the right cat to adopt.
In lieu of flowers, donations to TALGV or TAPS in Pekin, IL or any animal shelter in Ryan’s honor would be appreciated.
