

She was born on March 16, 1951, in Peoria, IL, to Elmer and Carol Ann (Gvoich) Craps. She married Suthep Sutthiwan in 1976, they divorced in 1985 and remained friends.
Sallie is survived by three children, Melissa Sutthiwan Linse (Paul Linse) of Elgin, IL, Gregory Sutthiwan of Clearwater, FL, and Angella Sutthiwan, of Cherry Valley, IL, grandsons, Toby Linse, Isaac Linse, and Milo Linse, all of Elgin, IL, brother Timothy Craps (Janese) of Peoria, and sister-in-law Diane Craps of Bartonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Steven J. Craps and David F. Craps.
Sallie worked for the State of Illinois, at Zeller Mental Health Center in Peoria, IL, and Murray Developmental Center, in Centralia, IL, as a dietary staff member for 28 years before retiring in April of 2013. She was a lifelong supporter of people with developmental disabilities.
Sallie enjoyed nature and bird watching, along with bowling, dancing, and rock and roll music. She was proud of her children and loved her grandchildren dearly. She loved her relationships with her brothers and sisters-in-law and cherished her longtime friendships.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 -11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home on 2408 W Willow Knolls Dr, Peoria, IL 61614, followed by a graveside service at 11:15 a.m. at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria IL.
Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
