Sandra L. Siens

Sandra L. Siens, 82, of Anniston, AL, formerly of Bartonville, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at McClellan Senior Living in Anniston, AL. She was born on December 29, 1939 in Burlington, Iowa, a daughter of Marguerite and George Decker. Sandra married Paul J. Siens on July 4, 1959 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2011 in Peoria.

In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rosemary Stanford; and brothers, William Decker, and James Decker.

Sandra is survived by her three children, Cheryl (Jeff) Walters of Columbus, OH, Cathy (Dean) Turner of Anniston, AL, and Paul (Lorrie) Siens, Sr. of Florida; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Bill) Lawson, Jacqueline Taylor, Jeffrey Walters, all of Columbus, OH, Catrina (Steve) Shannon of Tennessee and Stephanie (Tommy) Harkness, of Elmwood. Paul (Kris) Siens, Jr. of Dunlap, and Tiffany (Ryan) Richardson of Marquette Heights; one step-grandson; 20 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson and 2 step great-great grandchildren.

Sandra worked for many years for Bergner's at their Madison Park store in Peoria.

She was a member of Bartonville Christian Church and volunteered for many years in the church food pantry.

Sandra's graveside service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. Services have been entrusted to the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.
