She was born May 14, 1940 in Peoria to Harry and Adla Alwan. She married Howard Noe.He preceded her in death along with her parents, one sister and one brother.Survivors include two daughters: Kathy Koch of Washington, Tammy (Larry) Carter of Peoria, two sons: Pete (Sue) Noe of California, Scott (Luanne) Noe of Washington, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one sister, Diana (Tom) Joseph of Peoria.Shirley was a Bookkeeper for Alwan & Sons Meats, for several years.Visitation will be Friday Nov. 27, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary at 3:45 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday Nov. 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Philomena Catholic Church, where she was a member. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in West Peoria. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
