Stanley "Stan" Allen Jordan

He was born on July 3, 1952 in Peoria, IL to Duane and Sarah Jordan, nee Gregg. He married Teresa Lou

Kinnick on December 16, 1995.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents and previous wife Robyn Jordan.

Stan is survived by his wife of 26 years, Teresa Jordan of East Peoria and two sons, Jason Jordan of New

Orleans, and Matthew Jordan of New York City.

Stan proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and another four years in the reserves following his

honorable discharge in 1972. He studied business and managed several groceries throughout Iowa and

Illinois before returning home to Peoria. While in the Peoria area he worked in sales for various

telecommunications companies including MCI and Heart Technologies. He ended his sales career before

retirement as a Regional Sales Manager for AT&T. He strongly believed that honesty with customers and

colleagues was the only way to work, and proved it was a path to success.

He loved fishing, in fact his first date with Teresa was a fishing trip. He was a member of bowling, dart,

and pool leagues, as well as the American Legion, and the American Pool Players Association. Stan and

his late father were avid St. Louis Cardinal fans.

Cremation rites have been accorded. The family will be holding memorial services at a later date.
