Teresa Ann Kough

Teresa Ann Kough, 65, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at her home. She was born on November 3, 1957 in Peoria, a daughter of Milan "Boyd" Hendricksen and Agnes "Patricia" (Gates) Hendricksen. Teresa married Robert David Kough on May 26, 1984 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are her two daughters, Megan Wisdom of Columbus, Ohio, and Alison Kough of Thornton, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Paul.

Teresa graduated from Bradley University with a BA in Accounting and obtained her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License.

Teresa last worked as a tax analyst for Pekin Insurance for 11 years, retiring this year.

Teresa was a member of the Illinois Valley Yacht (IVY) Club and enjoyed boating and being on the water. She was also a member of Beta Alpha Psi, National Accounting Honor Society. Teresa was baptized and confirmed at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church and had previously volunteered her time as a Sunday school teacher and treasurer of the women’s guild.

Teresa's family has arranged a celebration of life gathering from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the IVY Club in Peoria Heights. There will be no service. Cremation has been entrusted to the Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery.
