Theresa D'Anne Johnstone

Theresa D. Johnstone, age 34, of West Peoria, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 1:05 p.m. at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Theresa was born Aug. 29, 1984 in Peoria to Kevin and Rhonda (Billingsley) Johnstone. December 12, 2009, Theresa experienced the greatest of joys when her daughter Zodianne was born. Six years later, on September 3, 2015, she gave birth to her son Aden.

There was nowhere Theresa’s love didn’t extend. She loved her family and friends so greatly that she would be impossible to forget. She also had a deep passion for creating art in all forms; in fact, her personal works were admired by all those she shared them with. Her love for nature displayed fully in her photography, paintings, and writings. Theresa was notoriously genuine in her opinions and a strong candidate for one of the most sarcastic people in the world. She was the definition of chaotic good; no one could forget the calmness her spirit brought after the end of every storm. She was greatly known for her infectious personality, her beautiful smile, and her energetic spirit. This world is an emptier place without her. She will be missed immensely by all those who had the opportunity of knowing her. There’s one thing her family knows for sure; her spirit was carried to a place where she is surrounded by all of those loved ones she and her family have lost.

Theresa is survived in death by her mother Rhonda Billingsley, father and step-mother, Kevin (Linda) Johnstone, one grandfather, Lynn Billingsley, two sisters: Erica Johnstone, Jennifer (Wesley) Ballard, one daughter, Zodianne Johnstone-Dorsey, and one son, Aden Johnstone, as well as her niece, nephew, aunts, uncle and many cousins.
